On behalf of the WSNLL Board of Directors, I want to thank the many children and parents who came out Wednesday night to volunteer their time in sweat equity to clean up a flooded mess. In my ten years as a board member and last seven as president, this turnout was unprecedented during my tenure. The true spirit of Little League came out last night. Our board also wants to thank the Kernersville Little League Board of Directors whose representatives came to me offering a ready made schedule for our league to use its fields. Southwest also offered help and we thank them.

We have experienced 1.5 -3 ft of flooding at the Dalton Complex and will be posting an update on the extent of the flooding and schedule changes will be sent out as soon as a full assessment is done.
